"Otherland" hand thrown, hand painted ceramic pouring bowl by Colette & Vera

This one of a kind 7" pouring bowl is as artful as it is functional.  The bowl has been masterfully created by ceramicist Vera Maguire in her home studio. Once glazed and fired, the bowl comes to me and I hand paint a scene from my favorite imaginary place, "Otherland". The scene depicts a coastal view, with trees, birds, the sea, hills and clouds.  A crescent moon in the sky implies twilight is upon the place.  The bisque pouring bowl has been painted in dusty neutral blues, gray greens, and a band of 18 carat gold bits.   Each bowl is made to order, so please allow 2-6 weeks for its creation just for you.  Each bowl is completely unique but based on this overall design.  Hand wash!  Wonderful for soups, cake batter..... whatever you can imagine!  Please enjoy, Colette
