"Shell" 12" x 12" acrylic on canvas. I painted this shell in 2014. In those days I was still painting the sides with a European stencil in antique gold tones. The painting depicts a conk, resting quietly, while the waves billow inside its porthole to another time and place. The sides are 2 3/4" deep, so this painting can sit on a shelf on its own or hang on your wall.
