Crescent moon seascape in oil on sculpted ceramic frame

"End Is Near" 19" x 8" x 4" Ceramic sculpture wall piece.  While the term "the end is near" feels rather fatalist and dark, this work, in it's ethereal beauty, suggests that one should make the most of their days.  In these strange, and volatile times, seek truth, and therefore, a sense of unshakable wellbeing.  This piece is sculpted from bisque clay, fired with white gloss glaze.  I've painted a low hanging crescent moon that hovers over the sea, in oil. Twilight ensues, implying the days end.  Shells from my walks along the beach represent the simplicity of the good things in this life.
